What is your next bike purchase going to be....

I am actually looking at new bikes now. I am really falling for the 08 CBR1000rr. I'll probably hold off until 2009. But yeah that's my next purchase.

Lately I have been looking at the Triumph America as a possible replacement
for the Sporty. Just depends if I can modify the Sporty to run on 93 octane or not. If not
then maybe the Triumph might be my bike at the gap next year. The new Vulcan 500 in
red and black is also very sweet looking as an alternative.

I have purchased two used bikes from Craigslist, I highly recommend looking there for listings and good deals once you know what you want.

All the majors have a sport touring model to choose from. It really just depends on what you desire in a bike and that generally is handling and feel at the throttle. The trouble is that few dealers will let you try these powerful cycles due to the risk involved. There is a used motorcycle shop not far from Atlanta. Check them out at http://www.wowmotorcycles.com/, They have a great selection in stock to choose from and they might even let you take them out for a spin to get a feel for the models that you are looking at and help you to make a decision. You may even find one there that you just can't leave without!

Right. I dont live to far from WOW in county north of where I live and have been there a couple of times never seemed to have a sport tourer avail. when I visit they usually keep a couple of used Goldwings around. And Craigslist is a great site bought my last motorcycle and last 2 cars from them. A dealer let me test ride a 2007 FJR but it was the automatic version it was a little heavy and I didn't feel comfortable guess I'm a traditionalist have to shift gears kept grabbing clutch anyway plus a little bit more than I wanted to pay.
