That's for sure, the Suzuki dealer here I was working with got so lax that I dropped him and now order parts,etc, either online or from the Honda dealer. Who by the way has been very helpful with my project bike, the 84 Interceptor. And I'm jealou...
I will keep them on my list of dealers to visit. If other manufacturers want to make a dent in the H-D following, they need to act like Harley dealers. Service sells.

Why we ride and don't "bike"
My favorite
A group of us gather on Tues nite to ride and eat. Anywhere from 5 to 10 bikes. Total length is about 30 min., edited to about 10
A good ride from Morganton NC to Jonas Ridge. If you've been on this road, you know what I mean

Short section of a road near Marion NC that runs up to the Blue Ridge. Very twisty and steep. A favorite road of mine.

Sorry to be off the grid lately. Actually, I did make the trip out to the mountains, and it was better than I could have thought possible! I made about 13 videos of the ride, the prep, the background and such, but I haven't loaded them on here yet. You can see them at

I was going to make another trip out that way next month, but finance issues made it impossible. Maybe in September. I'd love to see the leaves turning!

- Yeah, I like the GoPro - except for the sound quality. The POV 1.5 is my dream camera though. I looked up Casar, NC, on Google and discovered that you are out by Hickory. I'm about 30 minutes south of Raleigh, which puts me pretty far from you. But I'll be out your way at the end of next month. A friend of mine and I are heading down the Blue Ridge Parkway from Grandfather Mountain to Deals Gap over the Memorial Day weekend.
